Trustees are appointed by an advisory committee that comprises community representatives. Appointments are for two years and trustees can be reappointed at the end of this term.
Trustees are responsible for the employment of staff and for the day-to-day operation of the centre. Every two months trustees meet to consider financial reports and other matters relating to the operation of the centre. Each year trustees prepare an annual report of centre activities which is submitted to the Advisory Committee, the Wellington District Law Society and to the Legal Services Agency.
Current Trustees of the centres are:
