The Whitireia Community Law Centre Advisory Committee comprises nominated representatives from community organisations in the Porirua/ Kapiti area who monitor what the community law centre does and provide guidance on the legal needs of the community. The committee meets every two months on the third Wednesday of the month, to consider reports on centre activity and provide input on a range of matters of community concern. In addition to this, the committee also appoints trustees to the Board of the Whitireia Community Law Centre Trust and approves the annual service delivery plan submitted to the Legal Services Agency for funding purposes.
Membership of the committee comprises representatives from the following groups:-
